As I have had the item for less than a week it's difficult to give any detailed or accurate feedback, BUT my experience so far having used it twice, once to compact a small area of type 1, which it appeared to do to a reasonable standard. Yesterday I used it with the pad on some block paving and again it appeared to work OK, the only problem I had was fitting the pad, it appeared to be a two person job, it may become easier as the pad gets used more and perhaps gets a little more flexible, after a while the pad came off, so gave up the struggle to refit it. I am relaying a poorly laid driveway which total's approx 70sq Mt so wanted something that I could use on many occasions over a longer period just doing small area's, so from that point it was a very good price. It has a two year guarantee, so I should have finished the job before the warranty expires. It has a good length of cable, but it would be good if the storage for it was better.

Write a review! Only had the mitre saw a fortnight, so far its been good. Needed setting up a bit. Hope to get more than the 3yr warranty out of it.

Mitre saw stand. Fits my DeWalt mitre saw perfectly! A very solid piece of kit which gives an added feeling of security.

First impressions are good. Solid construction and ease of use but using the saw for the first time on 18mm plywood the motor seemed to be struggling. This may be down to very little set on the evolution blade causing the blade to have very little clearance.

RAGE S 210. Bought this item because my old mitre saw cought fire. Overall, I am very pleased with it considering the price. If you're cutting wood only, I would recomend the wood only blade. ( about £26)

Bought to replace old saw that was showing it's age after fifteen years. I have not used it very much yet but it is very easy to use and robustly manufactured, assembly was quite straight forward, looking forward to using it more in the future.

Works very well but the laser needs to be more powerful to be seen in outdoor conditions.

This is my second RAGE 3-S, the last one lasted 4 years and I must say I have had good use out of it. Take care NOT to force or jam the blade whilst cutting as the end can shear off the armature. Evolution parts lists are easily found on line if you need to identify spares. However postage & packing tends to be on the expensive side. You can replace the armature and carbon brushes but with postage and with less than £20, you can buy a new one, For average use, this saw works well. Before using, check that the laser light is at right angles to the back guide, giving you a square cut. If not it is easily adjusted. As I said, this is my second Rage 3-S, so it can't be that bad.

The Evolution saw I purchased is for hobby use only ,for the short time I have used it, it has been a dream to operate. only one minor adjustment was necessary to the 90 Deg. angle stop.
