Good tool, does exactly what it says on the can. Reasonably priced but non on the add-ons you get with some of the other similar saws on the market

Great saw, the only issue is that when the slide is clamped there is some lateral play in the mechanism.

The assembly instructions were relatively easy to follow. Having assembled my mitre saw I was keen to have a test drive. I initially tested what all the moving parts did but did not appreciate the criticality of the extendable fence when it came to using the mitre saw for a 45deg bevel cut. As a consequence of leaving the extendable too far to the right the saw cut the top right hand corner off. Anyone standing to the rear of the saw could have been hit by the flying piece of steel. I have now read the operating instructions and can see there is a note to cover this situation but this is too late for the average diy person and possibly you should consider a design change to stop the travel of this fence as a health and safety consideration.

Cross cut mitre saw first time user found it a very useful tool, it cut out a lot of hand sawing. The jigsaw is also a useful tool as long as you don't use the laser to guide you.

Guide notch is slightly off centre. Cuts quickly. Nice not having to worry about nail.

The saw performs well. it is quiet and the guard works well for straight cuts and there doesn't seem to be excess dust emissions. The only quibble I would have is with the mitre fence which has a lot of play in the grooves which can mean the timber may not be cut at the angle I would want. Other than that I.m quite pleased with my purchase

No problem cutting concrete slab. Safety button on on/off switch too small and hence difficult to use with gloves.

I purchased the Rage 3S. The reason for this was of the stated ability to trench cut. However at best this is inconsistent due to the head release feature adding about 2-3mm of play beyond the set head stop position. Also because of the size of the base the only way to trench cut the material effectively is to chock out with another piece of wood behind the material to be cut. If your saw doesn't come with a front clamp you will need to purchase this from Evolution which is reasonably priced but largely ineffective. It does not stabilize the wood enough at the point at which the arbor of the blade can perform a consistent depth cut all the way through the material. Look past this though, and for the money it is a solid well built saw that i hope will last for years. But there is little evidence to suggest there can be justification in claiming this can trench cut. They might as well lose the depth stop all together.

The multipurpose blade is good and cuts metal and wood cleanly and precisely. Laser guide is nice and powerful so even in strong sunlight you can see it. Easy to assemble and use. Only down side is that it does not have end stops, rest or dust bag included as standard and you have to buy these separately. However overall as good as more expensive models and great value for money

Well made and easy to assemble. Excellent performance on first job, working on oak flooring. Two small gripes...firstly the rip fence does not sit at 90 degrees to the table and therefore the blade touches the top of the fence when trying to slice a couple on mm off the work. Secondly there is too much play where the mitre fitting slots into the table. Both easily fixable. Great tool, made in the UK and good value
