I bought a saw from you and it cuts straight however it leaves a bunch of chatter marks on the cut. Tried a new blade and it did the same thing. I wanted to return the saw and just buy the upgraded version but was told you do not do that. Very disappointed. After checking things out farther I found the saw had a lot of runout on the motor.

I have been doing woodworking for close to 50 years and trimming the edge of a board is never a problem. Well after 3 cuts with my expensive blade I needed to do that on one piece of the steel tubing. Doing so ruined the blade. When I tried to make my next cut I was unable to make the cut. Now the blade needs to be sharpened.

Purchased a Evolution concrete saw from Total Tools on the 17th July 2023 the saw unit lasted about 10 Hours of use. I Returned the saw to Bankstown store under warranty on the 13 September and was told by Total tool it would be sent off for repairs, when I enquired in October the saw was being repaired and the repairer Max& Danial were waiting on parts for the repair. I have again contacted Total Tools on the 2 Nov and also spoke to Max& Danial I have now been informed the field coil and armature are burnt out and this is not covered under warranty and will not be repaired. The warranty is not worth the paper its printed. I was informed by Rob at Max & Danial the air intake may have been covered during use ( this is not possible as the air intake are on the side of the machine or used the saw to hard) as I have worked in the building industry before retiring and have used most power tool I know how to use tool and take care of them. I now live by the the old saying You get what you pay for. Bruce I have now wasted more time writing this review

Evolution S185CCSL: Metal Cutting Circular Saw - (This is the "orange" saw not "blue" model). This saw is NOT suitable for cutting 3/16" metal, even with the blue blade I purchased separately. Within 10 minutes of using this saw the arbor bolt snapped! I replaced the bolt and it cut for about another 10 minutes before it completely quit. Shut down...dead. This is a very light weight saw. There is a reason they are getting rid of their inventory for $79.00. It was going to cost me $40 to return for refund replacement. I keep the blade and the carry bag (very nice) and threw the saw in the dumpster. I figure I broke even and learned a valuable lesson. Don't waste your money on this saw.

Purchased the Evolution cold cut saw blade for stainless steel. 20 cuts in 1" x 1.2mm stainless box and the blade is toast and it was struggling with the last few cuts. Now won't even touch the material. Evolution won't honour any warranty saying it wasn't used in their machine. Yet their online store site indicates compatibility with several brands of saw including the Ridgid I use. At $255 AUD purchased from Total Tools that was a very expensive job.

Terrible customer service, free postage advertised but not to Perth. Too remote apparently. Discount offered to complete purchase but none of the items in my basket qualified! Emailed them with my concerns but no one bothered to reply. I’ll take my custom elsewhere…

Bought this track saw to straight-line cut hardwood boards for table tops. Cutting 35mm thick kiln dried oak the orginal blade cut 3 to 4m then started to pull into the cut and left burn marks. Had to buy a new blade, which I then cut a few more boards but found that over 2.3m there was a 3mm deflection over that distance. Overall very disappointed, should have gone for a more expensive brand! You get what you pay for I suppose.😒

I'm really not sure how this company has such a good reputation. They are useless and their tools are the worst quality I've ever seen. Tool 1 - File belt sander - lasted a few days before the bearings in the track went. Tool 2 - Cordless jigsaw - They sent a drill instead. When I finally got the jigsaw, they sent it without a battery. When I finally got the battery, the blade guide was defective and dangerous. Returned for a replacement. They sent out another wrong item. When I finally got another replacement jigsaw. This one was also defective, the blade wouldn't fit in it. Tool 3 - Cordless reciprocating saw - Underwhelming performance, barely fit for purpose. Blade release hits against body and doesn't work. Blade cannot be removed sometimes. Overall. I'd be better off with Chinese knockoffs. I'll never under any circumstances be going near these terrible tools and I would strongly recommend anyone else to do the same.

Bought an insert, advertised as two parts but only received one. When I queried it I was told that in the ‘small print’ it stated (although I didn’t see it) item was on sale because one part was out of stock- I was further advised I could buy that when it was next available! Not good enough as advert clearly pictured two parts as did text- so as was highly misleading- NOT good enough Evolution!

I was very disappointed with the new splinter edge strip for my track saw, When the track first arrived the strip was hanging off. so when it came to fitting the new strips I was meticulous in removing all the old glue and cleaning the edge with thinners making sure it was as clean and dry as possible before fitting the new strips. so I fitted the first strip and looked good, or so I thought. As I started fitting the second one the first one was starting to unpeel followed by parts of the second one so in the end I had to fix the strips with good old duck tape so will not be buying Evolution strips again

After switching to the evolution grinder on recommendation we have only used the tool for 3 days and it has stopped working resulting in me having to hire a saw to complete our project which is a cost and time inconvenience I will be replacing the grinder with another manufacturer. I’m really disappointed after reading reviews Regards David Matthews
