“I use the mitre saw. It is easy to set up, use and has excellent safety features. I have just laid a timber floor needing to cut it to shape, cut the skirting at various angles and the mitre saw was perfect for the job.”

“Very disapointed with the qualiuty of vice clamp on saw. Broken after only a few uses as youve used plastic insteaf of steel. Very flimsy design. Not tradesman quality. 255 mitre saw”

“Quick and easy to set up, nicely engineered. Really sturdy designed mitre saw stand that I bought at the same time as I bought the R255SMS mitre saw, nicely complimenting each other and as a bonus got an extra free blade in the deal. Now I know that this is a general purpose saw not necessarily designed for fine work but as this is a great product at a fantastic price it is a shame as it could do a bit more, so Talking about the blades, I visited the evolution shop but it seems that the only 10 inch woodworking blade to fit my saw that can be purchased has 40tpi. Now as a novice whether this will produce delicate cuts without splintering I can not tell but as 80tpi to 100tpi seems to be the general advise on the YouTube tutorials I would like to see a greater choice if possible. More teeth are better they say and as a 65year old I can relate to that. Also in the shop I would like to see spare clamping arms to be purchased so as to use different tools (small table saw etc) on the stand, little niggles easily rectified. Don't get me wrong I love my purchases and hope to get years of service from them even the sons were impressed.”

“I didn't want the hassle of a petrol powered compactor and this was the only electric one I could find. It's not as heavy duty as I would have liked, but it's easy to carry and has done the job.”

“I bought the Rage5-S table saw after viewing a lot of positive reviews on Internet. I agree with those reviews: it's a very good quality/price product. I have nevertheless some remarks: - I added a soft-start circuit (sold as spare part for Makita MLT100), which should be fitted as standard - I've been obliged to enlarge the cut-outs for the pusher, which were too small to fit the tool - it is impossible to tilt the blade at 45°, it stops at 45.6° (measured with electronic level)”

“Every time I purchase a new Evolution power tool it never fails to impress me how the R&D guys come up with such excellent products. From the multi cut discs to the impressive balance of the tools is always top class and worthy of 'professional' status, even though the tools I purchase are aimed at the DIY enthusiast. Very impressive and highly recommended.”
