Table saw function is limited, but the mitre saw function is very good.

Have used my chop saw work bench for the first time today , no matter how much I can tighten the rollers they keep dropping down with the weight of the timber , apart from that bench is pretty sturdy for saw

The saw itself appears to be good value for money, however same cannot be said about after sales service. I refer in particular to the dust bag which is an accessory, on phoning the company I was informed that the dust bag was not available for the FURY6!!!!. So why do they supply the adapter to fit into the exhaust port. I was also informed that the manual was in error and should show the dust bag !!!!!!!!!!!!!! This reply was via a lady through the technical department. I have written to the MD, a week ago, as yet no reply.

Having bought the Fury 6 Table/mitre saw I was pleased with the ease of setting up and testing of the saw. However the first time I took the saw out to use it the table saw switch failed which entailed returning the saw to the store for a replacement. A little disappointing to have the tool fail in less than 48 hours. I have given three stars as a neutral review as I have as yet only used the replacement tool with a few test cuts to check operation of the dual saw capability. Hopefully the replacement will give trouble free service but only time will tell. The test cuts appear to be quite good the only bits that look like an obvious failure point are the rear stabilising feet that screw on which look to be quite flimsy and prone to breaking if the tool is moved with them fitted. We shall see.

Need to re-design sliding carridge locking system. The lug system is suspect.

Easy to use and cuts very well, just one thing the screws to hold the lazar in place had been over tightened and have no thread left to lock the lazar in place.

Very good saw for the price but the spring to hold the guard fell off and it was too much hassle to arrange to send the saw to Evolution for repair so I threw it in the skip and bought a different make.

Set the saw up and got to making some cuts. Quickly became apparent the cuts were far from square. So had to sort it out, neither the fence or blade was set correctly. What happened to quality control??

My evolution rage miter saw for wood, plastic and metal cuts well. But the rotary bed clamp broke the first time I ever used it. I'm a professionally qualified engineer, so you can take this as accurate. The clamp on the underside of the rotary bed was heat treated incorrectly and or made of the wrong high carbon steel. It sheered-off clean, it was as hard as glass. I had hoped to return it to get it fixed while still under warranty, but I'll probably make a new clamp myself one day now as its now out of guarantee and I never got around to it. Anyway, the tool is well designed, as are the TCT blades, and the broken clamp does not stop me using it, though it maybe makes cutting a little harder on the blade teeth due to sideways chatter. The maker needs to take more care in the selection of appropriate materials for the clamp. I'm confident I'm not the only person who found this fault. It's a shame it spoils an otherwise great tool, and that's the only reason it did not get full marks.

Adequate for rough cutting where accuracy not important. Laser light very useful. Only complaint is that I have found it impossible to set up and retain a cutting position for an absolutely straight cut. Very frustrating.

Setting up the machine takes time to get any sort of accuracy and the sawdust collection bag is not efficient.

On purchase would have liked the option of a cut anything blade or a woodsaw blade. If I wanted to cut metal I would expect to buy a suitable blade. The cut everything blade is too vicious for most woodworking. Do not appreciate the odd arbour size in rage blades. Would be easier for customers if you supplied your blade in common size arbour.

The Evolution Fury power saw performs ok as a saw. The build quality of the depth gauge is very poor. It broke in half after I used the saw a couple of times. On inspection it was obvious that the spot-weld was too small and too weak to hold the two parts together . I decided to rivet the parts together myself. I emailed photos of the faulty workmanship to Evolution but no offer of a replacement was forthcoming. I guess as it's all made in China the UK Evolution office was not interested in sourcing spare parts. Anyway, I figured that a replacement would have the same poor build quality so it would not be an improvement.

TCT Multipurpose Table / Mitre Saw. This tool does on the outset seem great value so long as you don't want to do precision work. In chop saw mode it is at it's best but then that is a very simple task, rather limited by how deep one can chop. However on table mode the table is very flimsy and wobbles an awful lot. There is much too much side play in the guide. The fence cover is far too low but I suppose for safety sake it must be. Also the start switch in table mode has started to play up and only runs for a few seconds before it turns off. After a while holding the button down it does cure itself. The cut depth on table mode is also quite limited. In conclusion, so long as you don't expect too much from this tool it is value for money but it is not as robust as the adverts make you believe.
