In a word, disappointing!! I have been using orbital sanders for years, messy but effective. I bought the 280w Multipurpose Mini Belt Sander from CPC.com, to sand an old interior door jamb which was sticking when the door was closed. I started well, but then the dust bag was blown off in use making a mess. I hoovered up the dust, tightened the bag as hard as I could and continued. After less than 5 minutes, the bag blew off again and out came the hoover yet again. I finished the job by hand using a Stanley Planerfile and a sanding block. I thought of returning the sander to CPC, then decided that it may come in handy for exterior work in the future.

still playing around with, cuts fine but dont force it as it splinters even the thinest, left side 45 angle appears more accurate than right, and the blade guard catches at end of cut which has chipped a few pieces,

I had to return my first machine to the store as there was some play in the handle and so the cuts were off square (am building a shed and have to hope for the best with the many cuts I've already done as the timber is too expensive to replace). Because of this I will reserve judgement on the replacement machine until I have performed more cuts.

Used the stone cutter for the first time and after one days use two bolts fell out of the handle. I tried some of the other bolts and they were coming loose too. Evolution were quick to send new parts out, but I can't understand why a tool which vibrates so much the fixings are not held in by Locktite? I'm a builder, so it's going to be interesting to see how long it lasts! given the price £299.00 I'm hoping a long time.

Imagine my surprise when I made a 30 degree mitre cut and watched a chunk of the backstop/fence fly off. Good thing this saw blade cuts metal!

The saw is good enough for d.i.y, only problem it did not cut true needs adjusting ok for the money.

This is my second saw. My first one was a Stealth which failed 2 months out of warranty. The Rage S3 is a cheap and cheerful saw. It is noisy and the cuts are not as accurate as the pro makita. Which is expected when you consider the cost. If you're an occasional user it will do an ok job. A keen hobbist or pro will be disappointed.

I went into B &Q gave them some money and they gave me an Evolution saw. It is still in its box. I find it rather strange being asked for feedback on something that didn't happen. Now had you asked for feedback on the saw after I had used it!

Setup was straightforward, except for the laser calibration. It refers to a cardboard laser setup card which was absent, so have not been able to check that box. Also, it would have been a whole lot better if it had included a dust bag!

Good value, but limited use. Pity the fixed arrangement so severely limits the size of material to be cut. It would be good if the saw could be detached from the jig (or make the jig adjustable) to allow it to be used for cutting larger sections and sheet material, maybe as a free cutting circular saw. The work material clamping arrangement is rather simplistic and poorly engineered. I also query the accuracy of the gauges (bevel and chamfer angles). The set angle increments are also not definitive enough. However, for the repetitive cutting of small section timbers, pipes, etc this is a good value basic saw for domestic use.

I have wanted a reciprocating saw for many years and this is my second. My rating above as normal is due to the fact that my first one from Screwfix had a dangerous fault and I returned to Screwfix the next day. The problem was after inserting a "general wood blade" and doing a pull test to ensure it had locked I offered it to a 3"x3" softwood to make my first cut. The blade shot out and landed approx. 4m in front of me. A good job nobody was in the blades path. I then tried the other 3 types of blade with the same result. I explained this to Screwfix and they marked the return form as "faulty blade holder". I have tried the replacement from Screwfix on a similar piece of wood, this time held in a vice in my workshop without any problems. I will be happy to re-write my review after I have used it for several hours without problems.

Looking for or should I say, 'yearning' for an additional light weight & flexible cutting tool to extend my DIY options which portray the versatility my reliably used Evolution tools set. A no-brainer to head straight for Evolution, but being dedicated to quality, efficiency, comfort, & value I had to compare the market. It didn't take long to re-assure my experiences and discover the Evolution Rage Twin had the answer. First impressions are boosted by a great carrying case and well balanced tool. In use it does exactly as expected adding confidence each time its out of the box. In a nutshell you can only smile and spread the word, definately another revolutionary tool! Thank you

good saw but can only cut certain sizes of wood disappointed need it to cut six inches. should have warnings in hand book and on boxes so you can read about this before you buy and use so i could have bought one to allow me cut bigger sizes.

Less languages, bigger font for instructions. Saw does what it says on box.
