“Good reliable tools to use and reasonable priced”

“Only had the saw a few days , but first impressions seem positive. Had to make initial adjustments to the fences , about half a degree out. Not sure whether the laser is any use , prefer to offer the blade to the pencil mark for precise cutting. Good clean cut in wood , with minimal breakout. A good mitre saw for the price.”

“As I have only just brought sliding mitre saw and only used it few times I have yet to see how this will last as I am only use at at home as I do have a lot of wood work to do so time will tell”

“Takes a while to figure out how to add the accessories on and how to operate it. It's not as good as I would like in Table Saw mode (not enough height to the blade and the guide is too flimsy. However overall - excellent value for money.”

“Well made mitre sliding saw. Only negative comment is that I feel it should have had a dust bag provided for health reasons other than that very pleased with the product”

“"British design" says the box. But the box also says it's made in China, so is this a CCC (Cheap Chinese C p) product? No. Unlike the own-brand B&Q product that preceded it, the Evolution version is constructed mainly of metal rather than plastic. It feels sufficiently solid and up to the job and it appears that items will or may need replacing during use (blades and motor brushes) are easily accessible. If it keeps this level of behaviour up, I shall certainly look at Evolution tools again - and I wasn't expecting to have come to that conclusion.”

“Great value for money. I only purchased a few days ago and although i had never used a mitre saw before , managed to build a smashing bird table on a 4ft. stand. Got some tips from youtube about making a template for cutting 60 degree angles. I wouldnt hesitate in recommending this machine to anyone interested in D.I.Y. I would buy again ( but possibly the sliding model for larger items ). My score 9/10.”

“I got this as a second chop saw so that I can carry in the van, its nice and light and easy to carry, and it does exactly what it says on the box, very pleased with it and at a bargain price”

“Early days to give a proper opinion, but it all looks very good at the moment, the blade bore is not standard, and needs packing to use all the blades i have in my possession. Certainly very good value for money.”
