Purchased 255mm sliding mitre saw with stand from Screwfix. However, Screwfix did not stock the dust bag so I had to order one from your Evolution website. I was so disappointed that Screwfix were not able to help me out with the dust bag. With regard to the saw, the cut is not clean and I am concerned at the moment that I may not be using it correctly. The laser isn't 100% precise

Once saw setup as per instructions to give a square cut, worked really well. Trenching facility very useful as it saved me lots of chisel work.

A competent saw. Build quality good, a very competitively priced tool.

The Rage 3 Sliding Mitre Saw was easy to assemble from the box and easily put to good use the saw cuts through a variety of materials with ease, it makes my work so much easier I wish I had bought one a lot sooner, I look forward to my work now and know my saw can cope with the demands I am going to put on it. I would recommend the Rage three to other customers.

Excellent piece of kit, and 'does exactly what it says on the tin'. The only main problem I had was the turntable long lock bar thread did not want to screw in and appeared like it was cross threaded . Lots of grease and perseverance overcame this. The main drawback was once assembled, it could not be kept in its box (my other Rage tools can) without major disassembly each time it was used, therefore had to be stored on the shelf . This is probably ok for professional use, but not DIY as there is a limit to most 'hobby' workshop sizes. The vacuum cleaned adapter could have also been slightly tapered as my cleaner did not fit as the end of the hose was exactly the same size outside diameter as the adapter.

the mitre saw is good but a bit sadened to find that there was no support arms supplied with my saw as it could do with them they are only supplied with the double mitre saw i think that they should be supplied with all mitre saws.

Circular saw seems to be very good at cutting 12 mm plywood. Seems to be very good value but only used for short period so will be interesting to see if it stands the test of time and is as reliable as my old black and decker which lasted 25 years !

I have a sliding saw, great to use but the locking settings, ie. 90 and 45 degree, aren't accurate enough for my purposes.

Well packaged and simple to assemble.Instructions are easy to follow and the saw is well built and robust. A very good buy overall. I was surprised not to find a dustbag included though, this is an essential health and safety requirement to reduce dust inhalation when cutting wood.It is likely wood will be cut without a dustbag increasing the likelihood of a work related respirable disease. For a small cost to Evolution per unit this risk can be easily reduced.

For the price it's a deal .. Used it for two weeks on site cutting through larch boards .. Witch are very strong so for a quick fix tool would really recommend .. Yet to see if it stands up to the test of time

As I have used Evolution tools before (circular saw) I had high expectations of the sliding mitre saw. Although ithe saw itself does a good job, I found the laser to be inaccurate and difficult to adjust - I still havent got it quite right after a few attempts. The other let-down is the dust collection bag - it just doesn't work. Having cut approximately 20 floorboards, the bag is still completely empty.

Just bought a evolution rage 3b miter saw , this is their basic unit . I wanted something portable and lightweight to compliment my large but heavy miter saw. So far so good accurate cut right out the box. If i had a niggle it would be the lock down screw for the turntable very crude and feels flimsy. Time will tell if it's durable.

The saw is very good cuts like a dream, the setup was easy fit the rising knife and guard and you are on your way, the only problem is storing the saw on infomation on where the bits go the guide miter. If i had this info i would have given 5 stars.

Well constructed equipment at a reasonable price. 'Belt and braces' approach with the instructions ensures that you have all the information you need to assemble and use the products. There is a small machining error on the mitre saw stand that means that the tube supporting the woodwork clamp is too big to fit the socket provided on the stand.

Not sure the saw cuts at 90degrees but it's certainly faster than doing loads of mitre joints by hand !
