Only had it a few days, impressed so far. Instructions slightly out of date, {screws which should be loose in the pack are already assembled}

Evolution Rage 3B Compound Mitre Saw Pros - Easy to use straight out of the box (after a few simple checks for blade and fence alignment, which were all spot on, no adjustment needed) Clean accurate cuts on wood - not had the chance to try other materials yet Compact,, easy to carry and store Has saved me a lot of time and effort ! Cons - Could do with a laser guide to speed up lining up cut Unless I am missing something, it is impossible to use the right hand (from front of saw) clamping post as it fouls the motor housing when you bring the blade down Where it not for these two points I would have rated the saw 'Very Good'

This is my first circular saw. Everything looks good on this machine and we'll built. I've not had the chance to use the saw yet. The only niggle is the case could do with a little section to put the spar blade for safe keeping.

Used the circular saw for the first time today. Saw worked very well, but the return spring on the blade guard did not function properly. Contact made with screwfix from where it was purchased and they will replace or refund. It is a pity that this small defect happened as the saw function was good

Unpacked Evolution Rage 6 Compound Table Mitre Saw purchased from Screwfix to find Saw Blade separately packed requiring assembly in Mitre Saw with two missing Allen Keys (Arbor Lock) and (Blade Change). Ordered Dust Bag and requested both missing keys. Dust Bag arrived with two Allen Keys (6mm) whereas one Allen Key should have been (5mm) Acquired 5mm Allen Key from local Ironmongers and fitted Circular Saw Blade. Adjusted Bevel Angle Locking lever, requiring use of Stilson persuader to Zero setting, raised Table Saw to highest level and operated Circular Saw. Enquiries to Evolution revealed that this Model was manufactured in 2010 and is no longer in production but spare parts will be available.

The 255 mm sliding mitre saw seems great value at under £150 from Screw fix. The assembly instructions very good easy to follow. I also bought the evolution mitre saw stand, which made life little easier. I have only used to cut a bit of architrave and door stop. The finish of cut was not to bad for a universal blade. Splintered a little so I will probably swap for a dedicated blade for cutting wood. I probably need to spend a little more time calibrating the saw as the mitres where very slightly off. I like the depth stop feature handy for trench cuts. The motor has plenty of power. All in all this saw should give years of service.

Purchased 255mm sliding mitre saw with stand from Screwfix. However, Screwfix did not stock the dust bag so I had to order one from your Evolution website. I was so disappointed that Screwfix were not able to help me out with the dust bag. With regard to the saw, the cut is not clean and I am concerned at the moment that I may not be using it correctly. The laser isn't 100% precise

Once saw setup as per instructions to give a square cut, worked really well. Trenching facility very useful as it saved me lots of chisel work.

The Rage 3 Sliding Mitre Saw was easy to assemble from the box and easily put to good use the saw cuts through a variety of materials with ease, it makes my work so much easier I wish I had bought one a lot sooner, I look forward to my work now and know my saw can cope with the demands I am going to put on it. I would recommend the Rage three to other customers.

Excellent piece of kit, and 'does exactly what it says on the tin'. The only main problem I had was the turntable long lock bar thread did not want to screw in and appeared like it was cross threaded . Lots of grease and perseverance overcame this. The main drawback was once assembled, it could not be kept in its box (my other Rage tools can) without major disassembly each time it was used, therefore had to be stored on the shelf . This is probably ok for professional use, but not DIY as there is a limit to most 'hobby' workshop sizes. The vacuum cleaned adapter could have also been slightly tapered as my cleaner did not fit as the end of the hose was exactly the same size outside diameter as the adapter.

the mitre saw is good but a bit sadened to find that there was no support arms supplied with my saw as it could do with them they are only supplied with the double mitre saw i think that they should be supplied with all mitre saws.
