“Well, in brief, this is a good tool (355CPS, for me, it is used exclusively for cutting mild steel), at a good price and was delivered promptly to my door. With that being said, the lack of a quick release on the clamp makes this seem like a child's toy. The screw handle and connected clamp plate are awkward, not easy to turn (even with abundant oiling) and it is overall poorly designed. Where do you keep the attachment for pipe when not being used? (I used a rare earth magnet and stuck it to the 'chip diverter'). Why would you not include a quick release and charge $5. more for the tool and a chip tray for another $10.? We're doing this often enough, to make things happen quickly and efficiently. This does not meet those needs. No chip cup? You can get both of these on the upgrade model 380 for a measly extra $100. I own LOTS of tools and this one is disappointing, even with its strengths. I am not here to grouse about deficiencies, as I like this tool and it is heavy enough and light enough to move around my small metal shop. Cuts very clean (I am used to Diablo Steel Demon blades, so the jury is still out on this Evo blade), but apart from some chatter from the blade, all good besides these glaring omissions. Can't please everyone, right? If you're on a budget, buy this one. If you're expecting a well-designed saw with important features, buy the higher-priced upgraded one(s).... Side note: you will likely have this well built saw forever, so buy the best one that you can afford, even if it is more than you intend to spend. Thank you for your time.”

“The tool that I own was made badly (quality wise) when I sent it off for repairs and then I was told I broke it on purpose and they refused to repairs it sending me photos of the broken parts making me out to look like I'm stupid. I used to buy tools from here and they were good quality and lasted more than 3 years with no issue now they don't last a year.”

“I have a welding and blacksmith shop in Eastern Oregon and put this saw to work as soon as it was delivered. I like many aspects of the saw including the locking miter angles, power switch and general ergonomics of the saw. I am however disappointed in the saw fence. When clamping material tight to the fence, the clamps have enough power to easily flex the fence. I'm not sure how this will hold up over time and does not help accuracy. I was also hoping the blades would have a longer life span, I went through one fairly quickly even when using advised cutting practices. I had hi hopes for this saw hoping that it would get me by for a while without breaking the bank on a cold saw. After using it I don't believe this saw has those capabilities but I do foresee several applications where this saw will be the right tool for the job. Especially for onsite work.”

“I recently purchased a mitre-saw and the quality looks amazing although I haven’t had time to use it yet. The only negative is that I still haven’t been able to use my discount for my first order, as the other items I would like to buy have a small discount also and you cannot use both together. “Vacuum works well if a little noisy. The power cord is very stiff and unflexible and the hose could do with being a metre longer. But for the price good value.”
