The disccutter went wrong after cutting just one block and within 3 days of purchasing it. I am now in dispute with Machine Mart who are being very awkward about a refund, the matter is currently with my dispute resolution specialist.

First copsaw wasnt set up anywhere near square, in either plain. And it burnt out after less than 12 months, with very little use. Replacement was set up even further out of square. Instructions dont tell you how to set up saw square before use, they only tell you about how to set up laser, which is useless unless its dark. Any normal DIY guy would struggle to know how to set up a chopsaw. Hope this saw lasts longer than the first.

whole tool feel rather wobbly and does not make impression like a real tool, but you can not expect more in this price range. Blade alone is very good, but the rest...

I dont know if ive set the sander up wrong but the plastic guard round the sanding pad keeps hitting the surface making a horrible screeching sound. The pad actually looks offset to the guard.

I have several Evolution tools and have been very happy with them. The latest, the little R210 CMS is an excellent saw and its versatility is beyond reproach especially at cutting from wood to metal to plastic without changing the blade. Top marks. But, all the adverts and video's I have seen show it with a dust bag which was not supplied with mine. I phoned Evolution Tools regarding this, was immediately asked where I bought it from (Screwfix) and was told that as it was a special production model for them, a bag was not included. However I could buy one online at £8 or so which is 17% of the cost of the complete saw for a bit of cotton and a frame to connect to the saw. I suppose I should have checked with Screwfix before purchasing the saw but as it didn't say 'bag not supplied' on their website or on the box I assumed it would be included. I could return it to Screwfix but it is a good saw so I will keep it but give Evolution Tools a miss for future purchases. So POOR for Evolution Tools as this is the question asked for this review, but EXCELLENT for the saw.

Purchased the Rage3 Mitre saw followed by the saw stand and finally the dust bag. The saw itself is very good although did churn out a lot more sawdust than I expected. The saw stand is excellent and I would give that a five rating. I purchased the dust bag and found it managed to collect about 15% of sawdust, the rest still covering the saw, floor and surrounding areas. When I queried this I was told we don't really recommend the dust bag for this model but better to use a vacuum dust extractor. Shame that wasn't advised when I purchased the dust bag before wasting my money on it.

Good light and does the job but not up to trade use looks very used after only a few days and pin that holds the blade in broke on first one in only a few hours, good returns warranty tho but may buy a more expensive one next time

I recently purchased a Rage 3 Mitre saw, at a cost of £150 I was expecting a better quality tool. I was not expecting the quality of a £600-£700 tool but, I needed to set the cutting fence up to cut square both vertically and horizontally, the laser cutting guide would not adjust to the path of the cut,I just gave up in the end and do not use the laser as a guide. As I only had a limited amount of money to spend on this type of tool & needed to purchase one to complete a project, I wish I had spent my money more wisely. I apologise if this review is negative, but I have answered honestly.

The motor appears to have seized up and I've only had the machine for 1 year. I'm a DIY bod so it's hardly used propably half dozen times since I purchased it. However, the response I have had since I reported the problem has been first class.

This machine is not suitable for fine high quality cuts on wood / plywood. I purchased the Evolution Rage 5S saw table with the intention of making a new kitchen at home. I read several reviews and watched You Tube reviews and they were all very good and the product had a lot of good features for the price. Assembly was a bit fiddly and took longer than expected but all went well. I tied it out once with the multipurpose blade and it produced a reasonable cut on solid wood. I contacted a specialist saw blade supplier who said that the good news was that they could supply an industrial quality wood blade for this machine capable of making the precision cuts I wanted but the bad news is that because the Evolution Rage 5S is a multifunction machine and as such runs at lower speeds that I would struggle to get precision cuts with it. I contacted Evolution and this was there response “Our range of tools are multipurpose machine and the speed is reduce (2500RPM) to give it the capability of cutting mild steel, aluminium and plastics. For 1st fix work and working with reclaimed materials. We do have a wood only blade that is suitable for our machine speeds, but it is not for fine precision work”. I am unhappy as it does not clearly state this in any of their literature or any reviews that I have read or seen. They portray it as the do it all saw, but it clearly is not. So I think that it is misleading. I now have to try and find a work around or flog it on Ebay at a loss.

I bought the table for the evolution sliding mitre saw and the disk at the end of the clamp has come of with normal use after just two days. Otherwise the saw is great.

Chop saw table rotation consists of aluminium sliding on aluminium, definitely a no-no in engineering as they tend to bind when sliding on each other. Have had to strip down the equipment and clean up both surfaces but problem will occur again. Head tilt has a steel sleeve between the surfaces so the problem does not occur. Hope any updates have include a fix for this problem.

The blade lock button locked stuck on my fury 3 mitre saw. I also becomes unaligned with the lazer after a short while of using so I can never get a straight line cut. Not good

It wasn't capable of a small H.I. job! Disc binded on particle board and overheated. I bought this for my business, only to mitre cut trims after fitting ... it made a mess of the working surface and was more time consuming than a fixed or variable mitre block.
