Well made and easy to assemble. Excellent performance on first job, working on oak flooring. Two small gripes...firstly the rip fence does not sit at 90 degrees to the table and therefore the blade touches the top of the fence when trying to slice a couple on mm off the work. Secondly there is too much play where the mitre fitting slots into the table. Both easily fixable. Great tool, made in the UK and good value

Extension roller support is badly designed. Should lock at the same height as the saw.

Very pleased with this purchase apart from the dust bag that doesn't collect any dust

Circular saw produced a good clean cut in chipboard and MDF. Only used to fit a kitchen at the moment so I don't know how well the blade deals with nails buried in timber. One minor problem, out of the box, the blade could not be set to exactly 90 degrees to the sole plate. Some minor adjustments with my needle files sorted it out. Perhaps quality control needs tightening up a bit.

This is my first revolution power tools and I have used it today for the first time and my initial impression was favourable. But as with most electrical tools one does not see the guts of the tool namely the motor especially the windings and bearings. Contact me in a couple of years and I will have time to form a view.

solid enough for home diy; OK on wood, but not tried on metal/tiles, yet; no laser guide, but can alter cut position by moving wood under blade BEFORE starting to cut, so no real problem; depth and width of cut is limiting (but, if I wanted better I would have paid more!); only time will tell if it is a bargain buy.

VERY pleased with the product. Looks good, feels good and seems to do everything well. Looks like a robust build and does what it says on the cover. Only criticism - the instruction manual difficult to follow and actually difficult to SEE the drawings (had to use a magnifying glass). Fitting the blade instructions especially unclear which, considering the importance of fitting correctly, was quite worrying.

I have been a keen woodworker all of my life. Whilst I own several, and various, power tools a sliding cross cut saw has never been amongst them. Until now. First job on the horizon is decking for one of my daughters. The saw seems robustly made and carries out the basic functions with ease. Not sure I can understand why I haven't bought one sooner.

I bought an electric compactor. A little on the light side but perfectly adequate for DIY jobs such as paths in the garden which is what I bought it for. Delivered promptly.

the Sliding Mitre saw was bought as B grade stock and is in great condition. I haven't used it yet as it needs setting up but their ordering and delivery service was excellent.

Smaller than expected compared to my previous saw, only downside is that the dust collector is rather fiddly to fit. Otherwise at this early stage very pleased with the results achieved.
