“Bought to cut down some expensive aluminium window blinds that were made oversize- did the job perfectly. since used to cut timber for planters also did the job well. Just a pity it cant cut decking boards in one go- short lengths are no problem turning longer pieces might be inconvenient. Overall a very good buy for the average DIYer.”

“This is a great saw for general use and for the price, it is unbeatable value. However, if your pocket allows I would pay for something a little better- accuracy leaves something to be desired. Its quite a pain to get exactly square cuts on wider timber. I also had some problems cutting thicker timber (60mm+)- the blade wouldnt come down square- but it was subtle enough to only be an issue on thicker pieces. All in all though, a great chopsaw and certainly ideal for 99% trade/diy use (im a cabinet maker hence the need for greater precision)”

“I bought this saw for occasional DIY projects and am impressed with the quality of construction and it's efficiency. The only niggle is the inaccurate cutting guide on the base plate. It is necessary to set up a straight edge for all cuts. Otherwise I am pleased with the performance.”

“I bought this saw for an unusual purpose! My smallish lawns are a mat of small roots which grow from one to two inches below the surface from surrounding coniferous trees and I am too old to cut through them with a spade so I hoped that your saw would do the job for. I have only just started but so far all seems to be going well. Thank you.”

“Excellent value, setting up is straight forward but don't rely on the laser light for guidance when cutting, slide arm action could be smoother. Overall this is a good saw.”

“Our evolution mag drill did arrive on last day of revised estimated delivery date. However I wanted to get it next business day but that was not the case - ordered midday Thursday, dispatched Friday but delivered Monday. The drill is working well.”

“I have yet to use my Evolution 185mm Multipurpose Circular Saw, but it does look the part and seems to work well. The tool is robust and well made, especially for the price, but I suppose time will tell.”
