“First machine had no locating hole for machine lock in order to tighten blade. There was a burning smell from motor and a scraping noise from blade. Machine was also very sluggish to start. Replacement machine I had problems with blade not staying tight during rotation and slide would work its way loose. Dangerous to say the least. Both machines have been sent back. In less than 30 mins of use and in less than a week”

“I'll never buy any of your tools again, your chuck saw has broken down again, same problem, the saw guard ... I bought this from Machine Mart in Edinburgh which is a 40 mile journey from where I live (after spending hundreds of £s with them, the treatment from them is horrible), and it only lasted a few weeks when the guard stopped working, so I had to "bring it in" and they sent it off to you, and when I got it back (4 journeys - 80 miles approx) it still was not right, and now it's done it again... To cut a long story short, you want me to do another 40 mile journey taking the saw in, and I have to provide samples of what I'm cutting, like, your having a laugh right???!!! Also, every now and then, the saw jumps near the end of the cut, perhaps that's how the guard is broken .... I am absolutely disgusted with machine Mart and you and will never buy from either....”

“it packed up after using it the third time. i only had it for a month or less in fact and was used for about 20 min in total run time and now is as dead as a dodo. i was cutting aluminium which was less than 2mm thick so not as if i was asking it to do something it could not handle. I went to use it last week and does not even turn on.”

“Can not use belt sander for more than 5 mins as it gets to hot to hold ,only used it 4 times in 3 months .tryed using it for 10 mins and the drive belt broke!! Totally dissatisfied .”

“Bought concrete saw,used it twice started sparking inside. Called they said brushes,waited 1-1/2 months on brushes . Still not working. (You pay for what you get).”

“The box contains false advertising showing a dust bag. The frame work is very flimsy with far too much flex. The mitre saw bench is good easy to use apart from very flimsy roller support that don't sit true to the saw. I would not recommend this product to any tradesman.”

“half a hour use, bolt came loose on blade guide and fell off .could not find it . it became unusable . took it back and got a refund . very poor quality would not purchase again any evolution product”

“Used this twice and it keeps spitting the blades out otherwise it appears robust but it can't cut much when the blades don't stay in”

“Tool stopped working after less than two hours, returned it for a full refund, it's the second time a tool has failed and waiting for a repair under warranty wasn't a option this time, The mixing drill the first time this happened broke again after the warranty ran out and now needs money spending on it which I'm reluctant to do.”

“Great design idea but that's where it ends! The area that the user hand grips after merely 10 minutes use gets red hot rendering you unable to hold the sander. I expected flames to start to come out the sides.”

“Paddle mixer broke after less than 2 months and am now without one for 7-10 days while evolution decide weather they'll fix it or not , very poor product will never buy again”

“picked the same saw twice. Both times same part was broken. If one of the few buttons will not work then who knows what else will go wrong. Disappointed that there is obviously a lack of quality control before selling these items”

“Useless for any semblance of accurate work - guide fence is 3mm out on RHS compared to LHS and is simply not straight. Pretty grim workmanship and quality control - especially as there are similar comments elsewhere - why are these comments being ignored?? Plus, what are you going to do about my problem?”
