On purchasing your sds4-800 hammer drill do not understand the instruction book about the 4 position mode as it does not show clearly what each position does. I therefore e-mailed you for clarification. My reply was by ALAN who said refer to booklet I was complaining about in the first place that was crap!!!!!!!!!!!. regards DAVID HOPE

The quality of the power file heads and its location body was very poor with the two I purchased. The replacement heads required modification to enable them to work correctly. The large amount of play in the location still remains. The concept of the tool is good but the lack of quality checks at source and by the importer has lead to inferior quality machines being sold in the U.K. Or was I just unlucky with the two I received?

My mitre sliding saw cutting gauge is accurate! The 90 degree cutting angle isn't accurate and the disc doesn't lock in at zero for a perfect 90 degree cut. This has caused major issues with my decking boards!

As a experienced welder / fitter, I used my Rage 2 Multi Purpose saw on approximately 30 cuts of 3mm box profile and after 10 cuts started to produce sparks when cutting. Never was the saw forced into the metal. Cut some 6mm flat bar on the flat, as shown on many of Evolutions own Youtube videos and blade went almost completely blunt. Amazon clearly state that the blade will outlast 20 Abrasive discs! - Not in my case I'm afraid. Evolution refused my request for a replacement blade but would sell me one for £61 (but would send it for free) At £2 a cut, I think I'll pass up on their offer and get some of those terrible abrasive blades instead. for a fraction of the price.

I bought an evolution saw from screwfix, I had a choose of a few and decided on evolution as I had a few other tools of this brand, I've had the saw for about 8 or 9 months and the motor has burnt out, if I had used it a lot I would have accepted it but it's hardly done any work, a bit of wood cutting now and then, the stickers are all still in place on the bed of the saw, the saw started sparking and smoking bad, the motor has burnt out, I contacted screwfix who I also use regular, they got on there magical computer to tell me there system only goes back 6 month for my online receipt, due to the fact of every purchase from them they send out emails so they get deleted on a regular bases or my phone would have thousand of receipt from them, I then contacted evolution, to be told my saw has a warranty still on it but they need the receipt, mmmm likely story, does Santa Claus hand out receipts, I've never had one, do wedding presents have receipts I never got any, I've had dyson hoovers that have gone wrong even 6 month out of warranty they have sent an engineer out to repair it for free, not evolution very poor service and will be steering clear in future

Worst power tool I have ever purchased, Budget priced for a bodge it finish. After phone call to evolution to be told basically it's not going to be accurate unless you buy the trade quality instead of project range, my argument is why sell a saw that won't cut straight or do you not care because when the customer complains via email after phone the call after filling out request online also you won't respond at all, other than this request for a review. I have been utterly ignored and I am truly disgusted.

Not satisfied at all brought this saw for a big job I had to make my life Easyer for mitre cuts but there just not accurate at all its taking longer to do the job with regards this saw and I researched all reviews before buying and everyone said how accurate the saw was and was also just as good as a makita or dewalt similar saw but not the case for me! Is there a chance the saw I have purchased is faulty or are they all the same for mitre cuts? Regards Luke

this is the second rage mitre saw i have had the first one was the smaller one it went through three sets of brushes in a short time then packed up altogether so i replaced it with a more heavy duty one on 13th march used it for 2hours or so and motor was very noisy and there was a lot of free play on saw blade witch i thought at first was a loose blade but this was not so i returned this saw and got my money back as this was the second saw i have had i decided to purchase another brand

I have purchased a mitre saw stand to use with my fury 6 saw and have been told by your technical support, that not only dose it not fit without a wooden base, but can only be used as chop saw only because pushing wood across the machine makes it unstable.

Have sent 2 messages using your online web page.... as yet not even an acknowledgement with the compatibly of the saw bench stand and the 255mm mitre saw issue..... so i can't rate your products as i have not had use of it but your customer feed back is not really worth even a 1 star

2 nov still awaiting a further response, expect them to replace the saw philbax From: philbax Sent: ?Wednesday?, ?28? ?October? ?2015 ?14?:?36 To: Enquiries Hi Alan Nice idea but unfortunately not the answer. 1 there is insufficient movement to align the blade with the fences. 2 when you adjust the blade the riving knife moves as one with the blade. In my opinion the motor is not mounted at 90 degrees to the motor pivot bar. Over to you, I think we are looking at a replacement here regards Phil 07971 293 296 From: Enquiries Sent: ?Wednesday?, ?28? ?October? ?2015 ?13?:?11 To: philbax Hi Philip, Sorry for the confusions from the photo it looks like a Rage 5 table saw that you have. On this model if you loosen the 4 alan bolts at the front and rear of the table insert, you can get some adjustment, When adjusting, measure from the blade to the T slot in table. The table insert slot can be slightly out. Regards, Alan From: philip baxendale [ Sent: 28 October 2015 10:23 To: Enquiries Subject: Re: Enquiry From UK Website Hello Perhaps I was not clear. I agree the riving knife should not be out of alignment with the saw blade. The riving knife is ok and perfectly flat. The problem is that the blade (and motor) is not in line with the riving knife, it is the position of the motor and blade that need to be adjusted/replaced. The blade is not parallel to any of the fences. I have attached some photos that should illustrate the issue, I have lined up a steel rule against the blade to emphasise the misalignment. The saw blade is not buckled in any way. Either the motor and mounting need to be replaced or the whole machine, as such the saw is not fit for purpose. regards Philip baxendale From: Enquiries Sent: ?Wednesday?, ?28? ?October? ?2015 ?09?:?20 To: philbax Morning Philip, The riving knife should not be out of alignment with the blade and hey is no adjustment for this, If you return it you your supplier they will replace it for you. Regards, Alan -----Original Message----- From: philbax Sent: 27 October 2015 20:14 To: Enquiries Subject: Enquiry From UK Website From: philip baxendale Fax: Email: xxx Enquiry Type: Technical Support Message: I purchased a table top saw last week. I notice that the saw blade is not parallel to the saw guides. Is there any way in which the motor can be adjusted to rectify this. With out this rectification it is impossible to saw to a specific width dimension and also the knifing blade behind the saw blade is about 2-3 mm to one side. In fact the knifing blade is in the centre of the aw slot which suggests that it is in the right place and the blade is in the wrong place. regards Philbax

The laser has stopped working on my Rage 3 Saw which is just out of the guarantee apparently. I am not impressed because it has had very little use and now I am expected to purchase a replacement laser unit for £10.53 plus the ridiculous postage price of £5.98. For an item that was expensive to purchase in the first place I am very disappointed that this fault has occurred after such little use. I will think twice before purchasing any other of your products or recommending them to anyone.
